The sigma is better between 18 and 20 seriously though, the canon should be great as long as it isn't abused. I have done some reading and really struggling to decide between:

I am travelling to new zealand's south island in a month's time and looking to pick up a uwa for the trip, mainly for landscapes and low light/night time photography.
