The only time anything is clear is when i'm zoomed up close, the textures that are far away from the camera a clear.

You're probably referring to the depth of field which are options under graphics.
The thing is that when i zoom in to look closely at something everything get really blurry witch is hard to work on when u are trying to work on stuff more detailed and in general kinda ruins the fun u have of enjoying the stuff u made.
